Course description

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In this course you will learn about: 1) the drivers of Earth¿s climate system, 2) the way that biological processes feedback to affect climate; 3) historical and contemporary influence of climate changes on biological systems, from cells to ecosystems; 4) conservation implications of climate changes; and 5) biological solutions for climate-change adaptation and mitigation. This course will provide you with the foundation to be a scientifically-informed, active, and pragmatic participant in humanity's response to climate change in both a personal and professional capacity.distributions including infectious pathogens and their arthropod vectors.
