Program and course requirements

Complete 32 units for one of the following:

  • 32 units for MIR - 2 year full time duration, or
  • 32 units for MIR - 1.5 year full time duration (24 units of study and 8 units for prior learning), or
  • 32 units for MIR - 1 year full time duration (16 units of study and 16 units for prior learning)

MIR - 2 year full time duration

Complete 32 units comprising:

Selected courses must include at least 12 units at level 6 or higher.

Selected courses must include at least 8 units at level 7.

Selected courses must include at most 8 units at level 3.

MIR Flexible Core Courses and/or MIR Program Elective Courses

Complete 10 units comprising:

MIR Program Elective Courses, which may include up to 8 units from LAWS Courses

Complete 0 to 10 units comprising:

MIR - 1.5 year full time duration (24 units of study and 8 units for prior learning)

No credit will be given for POLS7000 or POLS7002.

Selected courses must include at least 12 units at level 6 or higher.

Selected courses must include at least 8 units at level 7.

Selected courses must include at most 6 units at level 3.

MIR Flexible Core Courses and/or MIR Program Elective Courses

Complete 10 units comprising:

MIR Program Elective Courses, which may include up to 8 units from LAWS Courses

Complete 0 to 10 units comprising:

approved recognised prior study and/or work experience

Complete 8 units for ALL of the following:

RPDCR70088 units
Prior Learning (8)

MIR - 1 year full time duration (16 units of study and 16 units for prior learning)

Complete 32 units comprising:

No credit will be given for POLS7000 or POLS7002.

Selected courses must include at least 12 units at level 6 or higher.

Selected courses must include at least 8 units at level 7 or higher.

Additional Rules

1.Exit Award

If you withdraw from this program after completing 16 units, you may apply to be awarded the Graduate Diploma in International Relations.
