Selected courses must include at most 24 units at level 1.

1. Progression through program
- You must complete your first 4 units from courses in the BCCJ Core Courses or BCCJ Flexible Core Courses sections.
2. Cross-Listed Courses
As a course can only be credited once, the following course replacement rules apply where a course is listed in more than one of your selected plans (minor, major or extended major).
- If the course is compulsory in more than one plan, it will be credited towards one plan only. You must replace the compulsory course in the second plan; with a course chosen from the second plan, at the same level or higher.
- If the course is compulsory in one plan only, it will be credited towards the plan in which it is compulsory. You must select an alternative course in the second plan, with a course chosen from the second plan, at the same level or higher.
- If the course is an elective in more than one plan, it will be credited towards one plan only.
