1. Program plan - BSc component
(a) Each extended major must include 12 units of courses at level 3 or higher, taken from that extended major’s course list and counted towards no other plan.
(b) Each major must include 8 units of courses at level 3 or higher, taken from that major’s course list and counted towards no other plan.
(c) Each minor must include 4 units of courses at level 2 or higher, taken from that minor’s course list and counted towards no other plan.
(d) Where the program is undertaken with more than one plan, any course listed more than once must be substituted in one plan by a course at the same level or higher from the list for that plan, or from the BSc component of the program requirements.
· extended major means a prescribed combination of 24 units from the extended major section in the BSc component
· major means a prescribed combination of 16 units from the major section in the BSc component
· minor means a prescribed combination of 8 units from the minor section in the BSc component
· plan means a minor, major or extended major in the BSc component.
2. Class of honours
Specific requirements apply to the awarding of honours in the LLB(Hons) component of the program.
The grade point average for determining your class of honours is calculated based on:
- The grades obtained in your first attempt at all LAWS courses at level 2 or higher that contribute to the program.
