Complete 48 units comprising:
- 6 units for all BIntSt Core Courses, and
- 4 units from BIntSt Flexible Core Courses, and
- 6 units from General Elective Courses, and
- 16 units for one Major from BIntSt Language Majors, and
- 16 units for one Major from BIntSt International Studies Majors
Selected courses must include at most 24 units at level 1.
Selected courses must include at least 8 units at level 3.

Additional Rules
1. Cross-listed courses
As a course can only be credited once, the following course replacement rules apply where a course is listed in more than one of your selected plans (minor, major or extended major):
- If the course is compulsory in more than one plan, it will be credited towards one plan only. You must replace the compulsory course in the second plan, with a course chosen from the second plan, at the same level or higher.
- If the course is compulsory in one plan only, it will be credited towards the plan in which it is compulsory. You must select an alternative course in the second plan, with a course chosen from the second plan, at the same level or higher.
- If the course is an elective in more than one plan, it will be credited towards one plan only.
2. Hurdle requirements
You must complete the following program-level hurdle requirement/s:
- You must successfully complete at least 6 units in courses approved by the executive dean for studies undertaken on overseas exchange.
3. Exit awards
Award of the Bachelor of Arts
- If you withdraw from the program after completing the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts program, you may apply to be awarded the Bachelor of Arts.
