The Doctor of Science is the highest academic award in science. It is designed to give formal public recognition to eminent scholars who have made substantial, original and distinguished contributions to scientific knowledge in an identified field of science.
What you can study
No formal study is undertaken in this program. Applicants must submit published material as a thesis which constitutes an original and important contribution to scientific knowledge and evidences an eminent research career in their field. Entry into the program is by application to, and acceptance by, the Faculty of Science Higher Doctorate Committee.
