Mental health nurses are in high demand in a variety of fields within the mental health sector. This program will introduce students to specialist practice in the area of mental health nursing. The Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing is designed to advance students' understanding of the theories, legislation, policies and standards that underpin mental health nursing. Students will develop skills that promote safe nursing practice and management of risk in a clinical setting.

Prerequisites
An approved bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent and be eligible to practise as a registered nurse in Australia.
Visa requirements
International students who wish to undertake this program will not qualify for a Student Visa. To study this program in Australia, international students must hold alternative Australian Visa/Residency status with a sufficient study entitlement.
