What you can do with a Master of Information Technology (Management)

Careers

Graduates of the Master of Information Technology (Management) will have completed an industrial-scale system from initial specification through to design, implementation and documentation, and will have a good knowledge of management issues.

Program rules for the Master of Information Technology (Management)

To complete the Master of Information Technology (Management)

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Information Technology (Management), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain #40 from the MInfTech(Man) list, comprising:

  • #30 from Part A;
  • at least #2 from Part B; and
  • at least #6 from Part C with at least #2 from part C1; and
  • The balance of courses from Part D or other courses approved by the Executive Dean.
  • Students should be aware of the University of Queensland policies and rules which govern the conduct of UQ programs. These may be found on the UQ policies and rules page on the my.UQ website.
