Why study the Master of Molecular Imaging?

From semester 1, 2018 this program has been replaced with the Master of Molecular Imaging Technology. Please contact the Centre for Advanced Imaging if you would like further information.

Molecular imaging is a form of biomedical imaging, which is rapidly growing in importance in the applied life sciences, and contributes in the advancement of biomedicines. The Master of Molecular Imaging aims at forming international leaders in molecular imaging with this unique program which is taught in collaboration with The University of Sydney. Students will have the opportunity to undertake courses through both institutions.

This program is especially designed for chemists, biologists, physicists, computer scientists, engineers, radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists who wish to gain an in-depth knowledge of this new biomedical imaging approach.

What you can do with a Master of Molecular Imaging

Careers

This program will provide you with an in-depth knowledge of new biomedical imaging approaches and prepare you to be a leader in this evolving field. Use the Master of Molecular Imaging as a springboard for a rewarding career as a radio-pharmacist, physicist or engineer in the biotechnology sector or in a clinical imaging department. This program is also a pathway for Research Higher Degree program such as a PhD.
