Advanced Practice Midwifery (APM) will provide the opportunity for midwives to apply an advanced level of knowledge and skills in providing midwifery care; effectively identify the needs of the individual woman and their family; further advance their knowledge and skills in quality use of medicines and formulate comprehensive health assessments and plans of care.
