Why study the Graduate Diploma in Human Services?
Please note there will be no intake for this program in 2010 or 2011.
The program offers advanced knowledge and skills in human services practice and leadership. Students are introduced to key elements of program and policy design, analysis and evaluation. Students also have the opportunity to undertake in-depth study in one key field of contemporary human services practice including: child protection; family therapy studies; social policy analysis; or management and leadership. These fields of study equip students with the essential knowledge and expertise for professional practice in a broad range of human services fields.

Careers
The Graduate Diploma in Human Services provides you with career opportunities in the public, not for profit, and private sectors of the human services. The latter embraces education, health and housing as well as community care. It is well suited to practitioners moving into more managerial and policy oriented roles in these fields.

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Human Services
To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Human Services, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
#16 from the MHumanServ list comprising:
- (a) #2 from part A; and
- (b) #8 from part B; and
- (c) the balance from courses in part A, B and/or part C
