Why study the Graduate Certificate in Business?
The Graduate Certificate in Business provides students with an alternative pathway to the Master of Business and Master of Business (Advanced); as well as providing quality training in the fields of International Event Management, International Hotel Management, International Sport and Recreation Management, and Internatinal Travel and Tourism Management or the business-related fields of Entrepreneurship, International Business and Marketing to students of diverse educational backgrounds. The program provides students with grounding in fundamental business principles from compulsory courses, while allowing electives from within or across the majors in Stream B of the Master of Business.

What you can do with a Graduate Certificate in Business
Careers
Graduates from Stream A would target employment within middle management of the event, hotel, hospitality, leisure, sport and recreation, travel and tourism industries.
Graduates from Stream B of the Graduate Certificate of Business can expect to find employment in the areas of consulting, marketing or market research; venture capital or international business.

Program rules for the Graduate Certificate in Business
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Business
To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Business, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #8 from one of the following streams:
Stream A: International Event Management; International Hotel Management; International Sport & Recreation Management; International Travel & Tourism Management.
A student undertaking Stream A is required to obtain #8 from the MBus List comprising -
- #4 from Part A of which one course must be TOUR7003; and
- #4 from a relevant field of study in Part B.
Stream B:
A student undertaking a general GCBus is required to obtain #8 from Stream B of the MBus List comprising -
- #4 from Part E; and
- #4 from Part F.
