Organisation and schools in general are complex and dynamic and students of the course are better able to understand the complexity of leadership theories by having a firmer understanding of the fine grained concepts that builds practice. This SFC is intended for those working in education but are also applicable to other corporate organisations. Using the¿OECD Schooling for Tomorrow scenarios for future schooling, students will be challenged to both reflect on current and likely future issues facing schooling and school leaders as well as identifying their own individual (and where appropriate their team) leadership development needs. The course is designed not as an end-point for leadership capability development, rather as a catalyst for facilitating on-going learning among participants. The target group would be school leaders, middle leaders, teacher leaders and aspiring leaders. These contexts could include schools, early learning centres, post-schooling education and training, professional and workplace training, vocational education and training.This module may be beneficial for leaders in a range of settings who are wanting to pursue leaderships roles within or beyond their organisation.
