Why study the Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours)?
This program is an advanced 4 year degree in economics and finance for students who are proficient in mathematics.
At the end of year 3 students decide to take a general pathway or a research pathway (ie major) in either economics or finance.
For the Economics major, students must have a GPA of 5.5 for Part A of the program, and a grade of 5 in ECON2050, ECON3010, ECON3020 and ECON3350.
For the Finance major, students must have a GPA of 5.5 for Part A of the program, and a grade of 5 in FINM2411, FINM3411 and FINM3412.

To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain 64 units from the BAdvFin&Econ(Hons) course list
comprising -
- (a) 44 units for Part A; and
- (b) either -
- 16 units for a major from Part B and 4 units from Part C; or
- 16 units from Part C and 4 units from Part D.
