Why study Sustainable Energy?

The Sustainable Energy field of study caters to students seeking knowledge and application of innovative solutions to the energy grand challenges facing organisations and society. Options available in this field of study include sustainable energy and climate change theory, which will introduce the language of energy and establish foundational knowledge of available sustainable energy technologies and global sustainability. Students will then progress from theory to practice, with options to conduct sustainability analyses of real-life organisations, assess and present solutions to the energy challenges of an Australian community and to engage in problem-based learning (PBL) to perform strategic analyses of organisations in energy industries and systems.
