Why study Global Livestock Production?
Global Livestock Production field is designed to give students sound grounding in the biology of livestock production linked to the efficiency of livestock production within the context of the major global challenge of rapid growth in demand for animal protein and implications for trade, communities, natural resources and the environment. Courses include global perspectives within a systems framework to deal with the complexities of integrating the above aspects when addressing the challenges involved in achieving sustainable livestock production systems.
