Why study Design and Information Technology?

The Design and Information Technology major caters for those students seeking knowledge and practical experience at understanding how humans interact with electronic devices and other new technologies. It builds on the core of the MEI program to hone students' design thinking skills, which in turn provides a basis to apply those skills in digital prototyping and designing interaction between humans and technology. Completion of this suite of courses will provide a toolkit for entrepreneurs and innovators to better design how business design information technologies to enhance the customer experience.
