Employment opportunities

The demand for scientists with comprehensive, multidisciplinary skills and expertise is very high both in Australia and overseas. Graduates of these dual majors will be highly sought after in the pharmaceutical and medical research fields, biotechnology sector, materials manufacturing and development companies. These dual majors also provide the perfect platform from which to embark upon a research career at the interface of chemistry and biology or chemistry and material sciences.

This major is accredited by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute for the educational relevance of its chemistry content.
