Why study Law for Business?

Leaders in business are those who can effectively navigate the changing business environment. In an increasingly regulated business environment, they play an important role in good governance, and in meeting society's expectations of what a `good corporate citizen' should be. This field of study will equip you with knowledge, skills and practical awareness of legal concepts, governance frameworks and business law that are essential to you as a future business leader. Taught by academics who are leaders in their fields, you will study topics covering core legal business knowledge such as corporate governance, intellectual property law, international trade, concepts and emerging trends in data security, Australian company and taxation law, and domestic and international dispute resolution.
