Why study Behaviour Support?

This field is designed to give teachers the knowledge and skills needed to identify, describe, and manage students' challenging behaviours in schools.

This field of study develops students' knowledge and skills in:

  • Contemporary, evidence-based practices in behaviour support
  • Assessment and understanding of the functions of challenging behaviours
  • Developing and implementing strategies for behaviour interventions across a range of environments
  • Monitoring and evaluating behaviour support strategies
