Course description

This course introduces students to the international travel and tourism sector. Adopting a systems theory approach, the sectors of the international tourism sector are explored, including the role of events in driving tourism development and the importance of transport systems. Whilst the major focus is on private sector firms, consideration is given to government influence and involvement. Employability is embedded in this course progressing students¿ professional presentation skills to influence decision making.
