Course description

This course is designed as a capstone Work Integrated Learning experience for students studying postgraduate tourism, hospitality and event management. The coursework component will provide students with a critical appreciation and understanding of the complex set of skills demanded by the tourism, hospitality and event sectors. The course requires students to explore, develop and reflect on intrapersonal, interpersonal and team skills and provides an insight into why these skills are essential traits of successful tourism and hospitality professionals. The practical component will allow students to select from several practice-based streams.
