Course description
Biotechnology Venture Management focuses on the pre-seed, seed, start-up and early development stages of new biotechnology firms. Identifies the significant tasks in moving from a research project to commercial success. Important elements include financial and feasibility analysis for new ventures, project selection, venture creation, the entrepreneurial business plan, intellectual property management as a commercial imperative, and the need for an exit strategy.
