Course description

In the general practice rotations, students will learn how to assess and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions in the ambulatory setting, particularly common illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes. Patient education and health maintenance will be emphasised, and students will further develop communication and physical examination skills that are appropriate for patients across all age groups and cultures. This rotation will allow students to build on prior knowledge gained in General Practice I and General Practice II.
