Course description
This course will no longer be offered from 2024
Maximum 30 enrolments due to health and safety reasons and site restrictions This course will introduce students to occupational health and safety (OHS) in multiple industries. Students will be exposed to a range of OHS professionals and their roles in the prevention of injury and illness in the workplace through site visits. Topics covered include OHS professional practice, application of Health and Safety Management System in different industries. Students will develop professional communication skills and OHS professional identity. OHSS2100 replaces OHSS1100 ¿ Occupational Health and Safety: An Industry Perspective from 2021 onwards.
