Course description
This course is designed to meet the needs of nurses to retrieve, critically evaluate and harness nursing research to underpin their practice. In small groups (6 students maximum), students will acquire and apply skills in the development and implementation of research projects. Each project will be supported by an academic supervisor, and the focus will be on skills in data collection, data analysis and management, data interpretation and presentation of findings. Through peer assessment processes, the course will also offer students the opportunity to engage in critical review of research findings.
