Course description

This course is part of the Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies program. The course is specifically developed for flight nurses who want to gain a more in depth knowledge of their field with the aim to become a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in this specialty area. The course will cover relevant physical laws, specific physiological and pathophysiological changes, conditions and injuries of special interest for air transport. The students will also be well prepared to identify special needs of the patient, create solutions for these and provide safe, high standard care.
