Course description
This course will assist students develop advanced skills in clinically based procedures and activities such as monitoring and assessing patients, providing first aid and emergency care. In addition, graduates will be able to assist in pathology collection and diagnostic testing. Graduates will develop advanced skills in a range of health care practices such as ECG monitoring, wound management, minor procedures, and conditions contributing to Australia's burden of disease such as diabetes, depression, asthma and heart failure. NOTE: This course may not be offered if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
