Course description

This course covers both the Government institutional and public interest framework in which business operates. In particular it focuses on the public policy environment, the regulatory frameworks, the various government business partnerships, and contemporary issues such as privatisation, corporatisation public/private partnership and outsourcing. The emphasis is on the need for managers to be aware of the public interest/ethical contexts within which business must operate.
