Course description
This course involves a study of the relevant laws and policies governing the rights of and the issues faced by the Indigenous peoples of Australia, both nationally and under International Law. Included in this study will be an analysis of Australian native title law and Indigenous cultural heritage law. Additionally, this course affords the opportunity for a comparative study of the laws and policies governing Indigenous peoples in USA, Canada and New Zealand.
