Course description

JAPN3020 is for students in intermediate level, and continues on from JAPN3010. Students who have completed JAPN31** coded and higher level courses are not eligible to enrol in this course. In this course, students will learn ways of expressing opinions, complaints, reminiscences about the past; speaking modestly about oneself; asking for and giving advice; reporting incidents; instructing people to do things; and making resolutions. The course will enhance students' communicative competence in the four macro skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and develop linguistic, cultural competency and critical thinking appropriate for intermediate level.
