This course is not offered in 2012.

An important method used in human service practice involves facilitating, supporting or consulting with various groups of people. This course provides a basic understanding of the ways in which group and teamwork processes may be applied to enhance social outcomes for people. The skills involved in facilitating a range of different groups will be explored. Students will be required to reflect on their own behaviour and roles within groups and teams as part of their learning in this course.
