Course description

This course outlines key theoretical and practical issues for health, rehabilitation, and disability service delivery in community settings. The course utilises the W.H.O. International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health (ICF) framework to reflect community and contextual issues which influence outcome and function. Current issues and frameworks pertaining to rehabilitation in the community are presented. Skills necessary for meeting the needs of people in family, community and social settings are outlined.
