Course description

Explores a period of profound cultural change in western Europe. Includes: Protestant and Catholic reformations; 'popular' culture; such as carnival; relations between the sexes; spirituality; saints' cults; prophecy & apocalyptic. This course may not run if there are fewer than 20 enrolments.
