Course description
This course allows students to explore major novels, essays, and poetry from a period of immense literary creativity, an era marked by profound social, political, and intellectual transformation. Authors may include Dickens, Darwin, Eliot, Gaskell, Rossetti, and Tennyson. NOTE: Course offering may be cancelled unless a minimum of 20 students enrol.
