Course description

The course focuses on aspects of reading that are not directly related to the development of reading skills and processes. It deals with the benefits of reading as an intellectual pursuit and as a factor that influences one's identity. The course takes a lifespan perspective, looking at young children's early reading experiences and the development of reading habits through childhood, adolescence, and through adult life. This course may not be offered internally if the enrolment is less than 10 students.
