Course description
This course is designed to challenge preservice teachers to use their knowledge, expertise and experience to design learning environments that will engage students in the learning process and cater for a variety of learning styles. It is a practical course designed to provide an initiation into the teaching of geography in secondary schools, with special reference to years 11 and 12 in Queensland. Studies include practical training in teaching skills and development of assessment items.
