This course is designed to develop understanding of community, school and student diversity and to develop skills in meeting those needs, particularly in heterogeneous classes. It will involve an analysis of difference and diversity, as understood through socially constructed subjectivities. The focus will be on the development of reflexive understanding and practical skills to respond to student diversity. The last offering of this course will be in Semester 2, 2011.
