Course description

Dental Practice II will allow students to consolidate their developing skills in intra-coronal restoration and enhance competence in history taking, diagnosis, care planning and management for dental patients with medical conditions. Students will develop an emerging understanding of the effects of common medical conditions on routine dental procedures. At the completion of this course, students will apply knowledge of head and neck anatomy, neurophysiology and pharmacology of local anaesthetic agents to deliver effective pain relief for restorative treatments.
