(Replaced by CHEE4060 which will run for the first time in semester 1, 2013.) Synthesis of a process flowsheet & control system. Flexibility & operability of design. Control system synthesis for an entire flowsheet, basic instrumentation, feedback & feedforward control & discrete event system design. Integration of process modelling skills.
