BOTN6017 will be replaced by BIOL7017 from 2017 onwards
To introduce the field of plant pathology; the major plant pathogen groups (fungi, oomycetes, bacteria, viruses, nematodes & phytoplasmas) & their identification (optional practical classes); methods of control (chemical, cultural, genetic & biological) & impact on society (historically, environment, quarantine & GM).
