If you’re having problems viewing class times with Timetable Planner, try using Course and Timetable Info instead.

How to use Course and Timetable Info

Course and Timetable Info shows timetable information in list form, rather than in the calendar style used in Timetable Planner.

Here's how you can view the times offered for each individual class:

Step 1. First select the correct semester and year from the drop-down menu, then enter the course code, and click the yellow ‘Search’ button.

Timetable abbreviations

To save space, timetable information is often presented used abbreviations or codes. To understand what they mean, take a look at the full list of timetable abbreviations.

When you look through your course page, pay careful attention to:

  • Contact Hours: this shows the amount of time you’ll spend in each class. For example, ‘3L’ is three-hour lecture.
  • Location column: this shows which campus a course is taught at.
  • Class column: this displays all the classes in a course. The first letter refers to the type of class and the number refers to the group number.

Important: The Course and Timetable Info site times-out after a period of inactivity. If this happens, reload the page and begin again. Also, don't get lost! Make sure you read all information under ‘What day, what time and where’ on the previous page and still continue through the Starting at UQ process.
