Become a UQ mentor today
To be eligible for UQ Mentoring programs, you must:
- have a GPA of 4.0 and achieved at least 4.0 in the previous semester,
- have completed at least one semester at UQ (full time or equivalent),
- be enrolled in a UQ program during your participation in the program,
- be at least 18 years old at the start of your participation in the program and
- have good spoken and written English.
Please note that some mentoring programs may have additional eligibility requirements at a program level.
When you apply to be a UQ Mentor you will gain access to a range of mentoring programs at UQ.
- Mentors are required to submit an application on StudentHub and if successful, attend a group interview as part of the UQ volunteering and mentoring recruitment process.
- Applications are open all year round.
