Genetics (Major)

For the major in Genetics, students must complete 16 units comprising —
    - 2 units for Level 1 Genetics major compulsory course; and
    - 2 units for Level 2 Genetics major compulsory courses; and
    - 4 units from Level 2 Genetics major elective courses; and
    - 2 units for Level 3 Genetics major compulsory courses; and
    - 6 units from Level 3 Genetics major elective courses.
Students should complete the 2 units of Level 1 prerequisite courses for the major.

Students who have not successfully completed Queensland Senior Chemistry (or equivalent) should complete CHEM1090 in their first semester as an elective course.
