Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Extended Major)
For the extended major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, students must complete 24 units comprising —
    - 2 units for Level 1 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology extended major compulsory course; and
    - 4 units for Level 2 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology extended major compulsory courses; and
    - 6 units from Level 2 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology extended major elective courses; and
    - 12 units from Level 3 Biochemistry and Molecular Biology extended major elective courses.
Students should complete the 4 units of Level 1 prerequisite courses for the extended major.
Students who have not successfully completed Queensland Senior Chemistry (or equivalent) should complete CHEM1090 in their first semester as an elective course.
