Why study the Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences?

As of 2016 this program is no longer accepting new students. The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is available as an alternative.

This program offers postgraduate coursework options for a range of health professionals from multiple disciplines. It is targeted at meeting workforce and market interest in emerging inter-professional areas of knowledge, skill and practice.

Students currently undertaking the Developing Clinicians as Leaders (DCAL) program offered by Qld Health may apply for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Health. Applications for credit on the basis of work undertaken as part of the DCAL program will be approved only where the relevant academic pack has been successfully completed (one UQ unit equals two DCAL courses plus the associated academic pack). Students are then required to enrol in and complete a minimum of 3 units at UQ.
