Bachelor's degree in a health, social work or other related field OR Bachelor's degree in other fields and relevant work experience OR Graduate Diploma in Health Studies in a relevant field.

International students may not undertake the program (except 'Standard' plan') on campus at UQ on a full-time basis; they may only study from their home countries and will not be eligible for an Australian student visa.

Careers

This program is designed for those working, or seeking to work, in a wide range of health and human services settings in government, non-government and private sectors. Graduates have enhanced understanding and skills relevant to a complex and changing health care environment, with particular emphasis on population health approaches. To complete the Master of Health Studies

To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Health Studies, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain #16 or #24 from the MHSt List for the chosen field. Refer to MHSt rules for further information.
