Why study the Master of International Public Health?

This program concerns public health in the international context and emphasises a population and public health approach to disease control and health improvement. It considers public health across populations and countries, from low to high incomes, in particular geographic and cultural contexts, and especially those experiencing demographic, health socio-cultural and economic transitions. It also looks at the balance between disease control and health promotion for infectious disease, under-nutrition, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and injuries. It also focuses on the major causes of ill-health and premature mortality, as well as determinants of health and quality of life.

Limited Summer Semester entry is available to domestic students as elective courses only are offered.
