  • There is no mid-year intake into the LLB. Only students who already have a place in the LLB can commence in semester two.

Program rules for the Bachelors of Laws/Information Technology

To complete the Bachelors of Laws/Information Technology

To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Laws/Information Technology, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain #88 comprising -

  • #56 from the LLB List including -
      (i) #38 of compulsory courses from Part A; and
      (ii) #18 of elective courses from Parts B and/or C; and
  • #32 in accordance with the BInfTech List including #12 of late year courses.
Students who wish to satisfy the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession in Queensland MUST include LAWS5215, LAWS5216 and LAWS5217 as part of the #18 of elective courses for the LLB. Refer to the BInfTech/LLB rules for further information. Also refer to the LLB/BInfTech program planner.
