Additional costs

  • Safety boots (AS2210) (up to $140)
  • Hard hat (AS1801) ($15)
  • Safety induction program ($40 with group, or $80 individual)
  • Students who undertake vacation work, fieldwork or work experience will be required to fund their own travel and living expenses.

Program rules for the Bachelors of Engineering/Arts

To complete the Bachelors of Engineering/Arts

To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Engineering/Arts, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain #88 comprising

  • #56 from the BE List to include a major in a chosen field of study; and
  • #32 from the BA Course List comprising -
      (i) 2 majors; or
      (ii) an extended major; and the balance from courses in
      Part A or Part B or a combination of both; or
      (iii) a major and 2 minors;
A mandatory requirement of the Bachelor of Engineering program is:
  • Completion of 60 days of Engineering Professional Practice to satisfy the requirements of Engineers Australia.
